Media Makers NYC was again in the New York City community creating content and providing Media services. This week our team, in association with the New York State Department of Health and Dunston Consultants provided media coverage for the Voice Your Vision Sessions, held at the Restoration Plaza in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

Voice Your Vision is a community listening session in areas legislatively defined as Minority Areas, with a 40% or greater racial and ethnic populations, which bear a disproportionate burden of poor health.

The Listening Sessions utilized a community led, bottom-up approach to identify and discuss complex health and social problems.

Voice You Vision allows the community to create its space, identify, set priorities, and discuss strategies that can achieve improved health and long-standing social change. In attendance were key health officials from Innerfaith, which include their President and CEO LaRay Brown, who talked about the importance of partnering with other local businesses to better serve the community.
